A World of Contrasts

Will you get me a bib?

The wind rustles the trees outside and the light shines through the small cabin door.

A rainbow on a warm white fuzzy blanket.

A dab of green baby poop on a small white sock

The feeling of calm

and panic.

I will get a bib.

A cry.

A bright red right cheek

The sound of a cricket

A gurgle.

A blue pacifier with a whale

moving in and out.

Will you get me a bib?

The tired feeling of standing up and sitting back down

moving back and forth.

Feeling trapped

Never wanting to leave

Being in love

Being annoyed

Large silver coins

Small copper pennies

Cheerios

Muesli

The green from cacti

or from the grass

A fuzzy blonde head

Three stringy long white hairs

I will get the bib
